Question: How’s touring going?
Lauren Alaina: “We’ve had a great year of touring so far. It’s been so great to be on the road. I actually just got my first bus on my own, or the Pentatonix tour. We’ve been out with them since mid-August and we are just about to wrap up the tour. It’s been such a different experience. Such a cool opportunity and a new crowd for us to be in front of and listening to them sing every night. It’s like unbelievable. They’re so incredibly talented and I just absolutely adore them and they are the sweetest people in the world. And I get to go up every night and sing with them, which is always really fun. We do Jolene, which any time I can pop Dolly Parton into any kind of set, you know, I’m doing it. She’s my favorite. And then we wrap this tour up and we have a bunch of dates from here to the end of the year. But the ones I’m most excited about are Cody Johnson dates because he is my favorite right now, one of my favorite artists out right now. And so with him and you best believe I’ll be rocking the cowgirl hat every night on that tour. So come see us.”
