Question: Tell me about “Best Thing Since Backroads”
Jake Owen: [:22] Best thing since Backroads is just a cool song. She’s got some good energy and tempo behind it. You know, a lot of my songs I’ve always released, I’ve really had this feeling of nostalgia and what it felt like growing up and just, you know, hand in the breeze. And those are the types of songs I grew up loving. And those are the songs that I love singing. And this one best thing since backgrounds really, I think encompasses all of that.
