Question: What’s it like playing “Best Thing Since Backroads” Live??
Jake Owen: “Yeah, but it’s fun to play it as you see that it’s reacting with people on the road, you know, like it’s one thing to play it when It’s a new song and you know, we’ve all seen our favorite artists do it or whatever they’re like. Here’s my new song and everybody’s like, I don’t know your new song, you know? And now think thanks to people that radio for playing it. People know it. And when you get out there, we start our show with it. People love it. It’s up tempo, great rock and song. So it’s been fun to watch people kind of it grow on people and people sing along.”
