Question: What does it feel having your song on the radio?
Ashley Cooke: “It’s so bizarre in the best way. I think it’s crazy. Like sometimes I’ll be on tour and I’ll be driving through a random city that I’ve never been to before, and all of a sudden I’ll hear my song. I hear that little, you know, never til now guitar lick. And I’m like, Oh, it, it’s me, you know, it’s crazy. It’s really surreal. And I think as a young artist, especially in country music, radio, is just such a massive deal that just it reaches so many people.”
