Question: How did y’all make fake rain?
HARDY: “Oh, yeah. So fake rain. There’s these towers. There’s just it’s kind of like you would think it’s like a hose. It’s like a water truck attached to a hose that goes to these like three big, tall PVC pipes that kind of look like miniature versions of, like, traffic lights, how they kind of go up and then like metal pipe, like, hangs over the road and they just say, all right, we’re going to we’re going to turn on the rain. And then they turn on the rain and that’s it. It’s pretty cool. And it looks it looks like rain for sure, like when you’re there. But then, like, you can obviously see it not raining all around. But when you when they like add the rain sound and like the thunder and the lightning effects in the video, I mean, it looks like it’s storming outside. It’s really cool.”
