Question: Tell me about writing “baby blues” and who with!
Ashley Cooke: “I was on a writing retreat. Some of my favorite co-writers, Kyle Sturrock, Johnny Claussen, Seth Ennis, and Joe Fox. And it was the first writing retreat of the year. We were writing our songs together for the first time at the top of January. And it so fun, we wrote a lot of stuff that was on my project, ACE, and this song came of it and it was just one of my favorites songs that I’ve gotten to write so far.”
