Question: Tell me about this Ryl tea collaboration & did your family have any input?
Morgan Wallen: “Yeah. So, you know, a lot of brands over the past couple of years have have, I don’t know, came and went with with offers and things like that. Most of them being alcohol. And I just felt like so many people have whiskey or tequila or something. I just see it everywhere. So I didn’t really want to do that, at least not at this point. And I met, you know, the people from Ryl Tea and they told me about, you know, the, the health benefits of it, first of all. And then they let me have an input on it on the recipe. And, you know, I got to taste test a bunch of different ones. My, my, my family didn’t really have they kind of already had most of the recipe pretty nailed down. So I think if I came in trying to trying to wreck the whole thing up, then I they might not like that too much. But I did send them like the, the trial runs and things, you know, to make sure they liked it, because I knew if they didn’t like it, then a lot of people probably wouldn’t like it. At least not, you know, from where I’m from. So they still had a they still had a piece in it, just just not in the recipe.”

Question: What is your favorite song to play live?
Ashley Cooke: “It’s so hard because there’s honestly, truly so many. Which I’m lucky to say, hard because this is like super funny because it is the radio single. But honestly, your place, like, we only moved to the back of the set because of the way that the crowd reacted to it and it’s wow, they scream. It’s so loud. There’s always there’s this part in the bridge where they just naturally started to scream to the point that I have to, like, stop the song and like, just take a minute, let them scream it out. Which is really, really cool. I’d say your place is, you know, one of the top. The top ones in the set for sure.”

Question: Tell me about touring with Billy Currington & Kip Moore
Larry Fleet: “At this point I’m where I’m at I just want to have a good time. And so Billy hit me up and said, hey, let’s play some shows together. And me and Kip were already writing songs together and been friends for a while, and he said, me, you and Kip, let’s go do something. So I said, man, I sounds like a good time. It’s mostly, you know, amphitheaters and and cool outside shows. And, I’m a big fan of both of those guys. And like I said, just friends. And not to sound like a good time.”

Question: What do you do in your free time?
Hailey Whitters: “In my free time, I like to hang out with my dogs. I have two pups, an Aussie shepherd named Raleigh and a blue tick beagle named Josephus, and I like to take them to the dog park. We like to go hiking and stuff, but really just sit in my backyard in a lawn chair, crack cold beer, hang with my pups.”

Question: Seems to be a lot of family that is apart of the “One Thing At A Time” album..
Morgan Wallen: “yeah. I mean, Jared is has been a songwriter in town for a little while now, I guess, you know, around the same. A little bit longer than than me. But I think he’s one of the most talented and most underrated songwriters in Nashville. So anytime that he has a song that he sends me, I always listen to it really, really intently. And, he’s actually got a couple songs on there, and I’m sure I’ll have a couple, a couple more on whatever I do next. But it makes me proud. You know, it’s cool is cool because we didn’t know each other before I moved to Nashville. And and music is is what brought us together and made us realize we’re family. So it’s it’s cool to see, you know, people who grew up having no idea that we were blood relatives come together and then get to make music together is is pretty special. And then my sister, we’ve always we’ve always sang together pretty much since we were little children. Both of my sisters, actually. But Ashlyn lives in Nashville, and so was kind of a last minute decision. So she’s the only one that made this record. But I love singing. Whether we all, you know, we grew up singing hymns and things like that in church. And, it’s it’s nice to be able to kind of let that come full circle on a song like that.”
