Question: What do you always have to have on the bus?
Larry Fleet: “We have a few things, but there is a chip drawer. So at any point in time you can find Cheetos or Cool Ranch Doritos. But my favorite is, hot and spicy or Tabasco. I don’t know if they do the Tabasco anymore. They just come hot and spicy Cheez-Its. Kind of a favorite of mine. I’ve been doing that for years. And I’m a doctor Pepper Zero, y’all. So I used to drink Coke, zeros and Diet Cokes. And I’ve always loved doctor Pepper. It was always my favorite. And then all of a sudden, one day they come up and we get doctor Pepper zero. I said, let me try this. And it tastes just like the real thing. It’s the best thing ever. So. At any point in time. You walk on this bus, you find hot and spicy Cheez-Its and doctor Pepper zero. It’s pretty wild. And we party.”

Question: Tell me about Cowgirls with ERNEST
Morgan Wallen: “Yeah I think ERN and me are really just… He’s really tapped into what I’m doing, you know, and and we we kind of I’ve always just been on a, on a super similar page. So it’s nice that me and him can go from singing a song like “Flower Shops”, which just completely traditional to go singing a song like “Cowgirls”, which is completely nontraditional sounding anyway, you know, not not, sonically.”

Question: Just kicked off the tour.. what prep goes into planning the tour?
Morgan Wallen: “Yeah. I mean, I think at this point, you know, especially when you get into stadiums is mostly just about production. You already have a good idea of what songs are going to play. At least I do for this, you know, for these tours is because of. You know, what the tours called or whatever. You know, you kind of know, you kind of have an idea of what you’re going to do as far as that goes. But the production, the stage, how where are you going to put the stage? How many tickets go on sale? What’s the theme? Are you going to do themes? Just all kinds of stuff like that. So that that takes the that takes the most time. I think, you know, just a quite a few zoom calls and things like that. A lot of people behind the scenes working on that, you know, working a lot harder than I am on that. I kind of just give my $0.02 every couple weeks, you know? But a lot of people really do work hard for that. And then, you know, once we get within a month or so, we start rehearsing a couple days a week, figuring out, you know, the set list and which ones, which songs go good together, which ones don’t. What moments are we going to have? All that kind of stuff. So it’s a lot of work for a lot of people, not just me.”
