Question: Tell me about filming the “truck bed video” HARDY: “The truck bed video was super fun. Obviously it was very high energy. We’re just throwing a party and, we had a bunch of fans, you know, come and play the cast off of the partygoers. But the coolest part was some of my, like, the celebrity appearances and we, you know, we wanted to do it where it wasn’t just like, cliche, like like Morgan shows up or Ernest, like, I love those guys. But we were like, how can we have some cool guest appearances? And it not be and it be very unassuming. And so, yeah, we picked a football player, a professional golfer, and like a giant social media presence with, king bats. So it was cool. The whole thing was really fun. The fact that we set a dude on fire and had to put him out, and that whole scene is, I think it was legendary. So really good time doing that.”
Question: Tell me about the family dog. ASHLEY COOKE: “oh my gosh. Okay. So my mom so we had a Yorkie and this dog that I got for my 17th birthday. We’ve had them for the longest time. The Yorkie just passed away. And so my mom was like, I want to get another dog. So she got a golden doodle and it’s named buddy. And it is. He is just the sweetest thing in the whole world. He’s so smart. He, like, learn how to sit within a matter of like, a day. Like he’s so smart. She’s learning little by little, and they’re really getting along. And he’s just the cutest thing in the whole world. I want to bring on the tour bus next year. I think I’m going to.”
Question: What song does the crowd really react to? Ashley Cooke: “This is like super funny because it is the radio single, but honestly, “your place”, like, we only moved to the back of the set because of the way that the crowd reacted to it and it’s wow, they scream it so loud. There’s always there’s this part in the bridge where they just naturally started to scream to the point that I have to, like, stop the song and like, just take a minute, let them scream it out. Which is really, really cool. I’d say “your place” is, you know, one of the top. The top ones in the set for sure.”
Question: Have you given anyone tattoos recently? HARDY: “The last tattoo that I gave was Darian, who works for me, a giant hot dog on his leg. But that’s been like two years ago. I bought all this new tattoo stuff and then like it. And then I never used it, so I might be out of that game for a while.”
