Question: What have you been watching with Ryman?
ERNEST: “Lately, I’ll tell you what we have been watching in the mornings we watch this symphony playing the good, the bad, the ugly soundtrack, and me and Ryman will sit there and watch that every morning.”

Question: What TV shows are you watching?
ERNEST: “Um, I haven’t really been watching any TV lately. I gotta be honest. I’m playing some FIFA on my bus, but Um, I haven’t been watching much TV”
Question: Tell me about your band members..
ERNEST: “I have an incredible band. We call them the Fellas. You know, we’ve got some new pieces this year. The original, the Core Four has grown and gone on their way. My boy Chandler Walters was my pedal steel player and left -hand man, and he’s now gone to be Post Malone’s pedal steel player, 21 -year -old, cutting a rug out there with Post. It’s sad, sad dad over here. But it’s great. His replacement, Mr. Joe Compton, another 21 year old, stunning young man from Marietta, Georgia. It’s spooky, the similarities, but Jordan Merrigan plays guitar for me. He’s great, he’s been there day one the whole time. Behind me I got Judd. He is a newer drummer, but he has fit in perfectly. And then I got Christian Stoll on the fiddle, and we are a rootin’ tootin’, honky tonkin’.”

Question: What are some of your favorite places to eat in Nashville?
ERNEST: Some of my go -tos, I like Superica. Let’s see, I love Santo in Green Hills. Oh, Epice in 12 South is probably my favorite restaurant.
