Question: Is there a different writing style with Post Malone?
ERNEST: Yeah, it’s it’s totally different than, than the way we normally write country songs, which which I love..first starts around 7 or 8 p.m. and we will go until the wee hours of the morning and we’ll write a bunch of song ideas or, you know, we might write three whole songs or we might start eight songs and then come back the next day and finish those and start more.

Question: Tell me about your car collection..
ERNEST: “Yeah, that’s a funny question. Today I have zero cars available to drive. I have a 1975 Cadillac Coupe de Ville, but it’s I don’t even know where it is getting a new engine. Le Soir. Everything’s going to be brand new on the inside. I also have an Escalade that is in the shop because I turned into a pole in 38 and Seaside. So I’m getting that fixed right now. And I have a F150, Ford Trimmer on the way, but it’s not here. So I have no cars right now. Uber here.”

Question: Can you tell me about Cadillac Music?
ERNEST: Man, I’m having a blast. You know, getting to share some of the blessings and opportunities I’ve been given. And that’s one of my favorite things to do. There’s so much talent in this city. And now I’m at a place where if I find something talented, I can empower it. And and, you know, water that seed. And that’s been so much fun. I got Rhys Rutherford, Cody Lodhen, Rafe Tenpenny, Chandler Walters. And it’s just a fun squad. We show up early 9 a.m., start writing songs, and maybe hit the bar for a couple of cold beers for lunch and then come back and keep writing. It’s a great routine.
