Question: Have you ever performed at an awards show?
HARDY: [:26] So I have played I’ve played the CMA Awards once before it was last year, it was COVID the COVID show and I played like mile a minute and a half of of one beer. It was for an hour in or is cold in. The stage I played on was really slick and I was worried about falling down, so I had to. I felt like I had to be really still, but I’ve never played the full on like performance thing, so I’m really honored and really excited to be a part of that.
Question: How excited are you to perform at the CMA Awards with Dierks Bentley & Breland??
HARDY: [:22] Yeah, I’m really excited to play the awards. Truly, I mean, I’ve grown up watching the awards with my family, my whole life and just to know I’m going to be a part of that this year. It’s just kind of insane and surreal, and it’s my first one. So I’m a little bit nervous, but just very honored and very excited and honestly, just happy to be a part of the whole thing.
HARDY: [:08] Yeah, I think so. She’s wearing a green dress, I think. And I’m wearing like a snakeskin jacket kind of deal I saw, it should be fun.
