HARDY – How you Met Lainey Wilson

Question: When did you meet Lainey Wilson?
HARDY: “I first met Lainey Wilson on the If I Know Me tour with Morgan, which started in 2018, so four years ago, which seems like a lifetime ago, but it really wasn’t. She and I since then have been great friends. She is just an amazing person. She’s let me borrow her truck when my truck was broken down and every time I bought by her big bottle of whiskey. But she’s she’s great. And, you know, when we were trying to figure out who would sing this song, she is that character, you know, not she. She has that believable voice of that girl that you would find, you know, in the middle of the night, you know? And she has so much conviction in her voice, and she just was the perfect candidate.”
