Question: Why do you love “All My Exes”?
Lauren Alaina: “I hope when people hear this song that they can think about a relationship they were in and they’re like, Yeah, I I also dated that person and and just listen to it and vibe to it. It’s got such a good feel to it. My husband gets plays this song almost every time we get in the truck and I hope everybody feels the way my husband feels about this song.”

Question: Tell me about your band..
Lauren Alaina: “Yeah, so we have Tico and McCoy, my guitar player and my drummer have been with me for 10 years. And Colton’s the newest member of the band. He’s been with us for a couple of years. I like to keep people around. Those are my boys. People that come to the shows know McCoy and Tico. It’s so funny.”

Question: How did you get Chase on the song with you?
Lauren Alaina: “My husband, Cameron, is the reason that Chase Matthew is on this song. He literally, when we were on tour with Jason Aldean said, you need to ask Chase to do this song with you and played it for him and chase loved it. And the rest is history. So shout out to my husband.”

Question: How is this song different than other releases recently?
Lauren Alaina: All my exes is a complete departure from like the narrative that we’ve been putting out. Most of the songs are about my personal life and becoming a mother and, you know, the transformation I’ve gone through in the last year with things that have happened in my life. And this one just like in my past life, I went to Broadway and fought with my ex. Hey, there’s room for all of it.
