Question: How long did it take to write?
HARDY: This particular write I would just say it was like a medium write. It took a couple, three hours maybe. I mean, to me that’s a medium one. A fast one is, I always like to think under an hour. But this one was a regular write. We definitely had to do like some surgery on this one and make sure we had the timelines and all that kind of stuff in order. So it took a little bit extra time.

Question: Did you record “McArthur” together?
HARDY: Yes, we were we were all together in the studio and it was awesome. I, you know, with Joey Moi, my producer, it’s it’s a bit of a different process where there’s a lot of you play it over and over and again and you get the right parts. And this was just completely different. It was very organic. Very different, we all sat in the room together and let the band, I think I watched the band play it through like three times and then Jay Joyce was like, that’s good. And then we all stood up and we sang it live. It was very, very different, but it was so cool and it was just a very musical experience and one that I have never really had in Nashville. So it was very cool.

Question: Girls going to be coming on the road with you?
HARDY: “Well, we will definitely pick some venues, but you know, we’ve learned we haven’t gotten in a good rhythm of having a kid yet, but it’s also it’s very difficult to be on tour when you have to carry a child. And what I mean by that is like you can’t even at two years old, you can just be like, or even at like a year old or whatever, you just be like, hey, come with me and just go for a walk. You know what I means? It’s like you got to get you got a getter and you either got to put her in the So we’re kinda just, we still haven’t really hit our stride or found our rhythm on the road yet, but we’re gonna try some easy cities. We bus in, bus out, no flying, stuff like that, but we’ll give it another go this year.”

HARDY: she’s going to walk any day now. I mean, she’s so close to standing up on her own and all that, but she’s perfect. She’s such a, she is a good little girl.
