Jake Owen: “Girls are great. Everybody’s great. Everybody’s getting older, including me. And we’re just we’re just living a great life. We’re we’re blessed. And I think it’s important to always realize that to.”

Question: 3 things you have to have on a boat?
Jake Owen: “My friends and people I love well that’s the same thing. That’s that’s the number one thing. Some ice got always had that cold ice. And then the third thing is, whatever it is that you want to have for refreshments, you know? So those three things are very important.”

Question: What are some new songs you enjoy playing on the road?
Jake Owen: “We’ve been playing “On the Boat Again” which is fun. It’s what a great song to add to the setlist and it helps really with our show and kind of what we’ve done for a long time. But solo, solo, it’s been a lot of fun. Well, everybody loves that song, so we’re adding a lot of good stuff, so.”

Question: How’s your golf game?
Jake Owen: “Golf games pretty solid. You know, it’s okay. It’s like I’m not really getting any better, but I’m not getting worse. And so I’m okay with that.”
Question: How did you sample the song?
Jake Owen: “Well, we kind of just took the premise from Willie Nelson and paid some homage to him. And obviously my life being a boater, it only made sense.”
