Lauren Alaina: Yeah, Lord, I’m going to be doing diapers before and after the show. That’s I’m trading, um, shots with the crew for breastfeeding and changing diapers. So that’s going to different. Um, but our rituals before I have a secret handshake with everyone on the road, um and we say a little prayer and then we do like the, you know, where you put your hands in and throw them up, we do a different word or saying every night and then we go out.

Lauren: My husband asked Chase to be on this song.
Chase: Yeah, she didn’t know it though, it’s a later on, but yeah, Pam was a cheerleader for this one. [00:00:06][4.2]
Lauren: My husband played him this song when we were on tour with Jason Aldean last summer and then I played it for Jason. He acted like he’d never heard it before.
Chase: Yeah, he told me he said hey man, I’m gonna play this song. I’ma make Lauren get on it with you She’s gonna see you gotta be on this song I’m a talker into it he said but when she plays it for you, you gotta act like you know nothing.
Lauren: I had an idea! Scheming! I had to stop.
Chase: I had to stop myself from singing it the second time I heard it.

Question: How are the animals with Beni?
Lauren Alaina: “I was really worried about the dogs with the baby. Really worried. Specifically Opry, because Opry’s our baby and she’s like a big attention taker. But they’ve all done really well. I think probably the person who’s done the worst is the cat. I think she’s like, What is that thing? It’s so funny, we’ll when we get in with Beni and she’s still in the car seat and we like sit her down and I’m putting my diaper bag and stuff away, you know, just like in the corner where we put it in the closet. The cat will be like peeking over the car seat, like, what is that thing? And looking at her. The dogs kiss her. So we’ve the the first night we got home from the hospital Opry sleeps in the bed. Nola sleeps like in the bed between us. And Nola sleeps at the bottom.

Lauren Alaina: “I hope when people hear this song that they can think about a relationship they were in and they’re like, Yeah, I I also dated that person and and just listen to it and vibe to it. It’s got such a good feel to it. My husband gets plays this song almost every time we get in the truck and I hope everybody feels the way my husband feels about this song.”
