Question: What are your Thanksgiving plans?
Morgan Wallen: “Yeah, my family’s going to come down here for Thanksgiving, so that’s going to be cool. You know, usually we go back to East Tennessee, but they wanted to come down here this year, so I’m looking forward to that.”

Question: Are you making anything this year?
Morgan Wallen: “I probably won’t make anything. I mean, I’m a decent. I’m pretty good at grilling, but it’s not really that’s not really what you do for for Thanksgiving. Normally, I could try to do something different, you know, instead of having the the normal Thanksgiving meal, I could. I could try to bring my own touch. That’s probably good idea, actually.”

Question: How does it feel to have your 10th #1 song?
Morgan Wallen: “Yeah. Um. I mean, you know, I’ve always had I’ve always had faith in and in myself and in the team around me. But I think thinking back to how difficult the first one was, you know, you wonder like, well, I don’t know, maybe this ain’t going to go like I thought it would. But it’s awesome that the radio wants to play that much of my songs, um, that many of my songs, it’s, it’s awesome to, you know, get to see them out at the shows and see the support that they’ve given me since, you know, since 2016. Um, no, I never, I never really had a gauge or, uh, or a goal on how many number ones I would have but to, you know, make, make it to ten and in a relatively short amount of time. And just, uh, just to know how much hard work came, you know, before, before that for me and, and, and for my team, it’s, uh. It’s pretty wild. You know, we started out with, uh, a handful, a handful of folks. And it’s turned into, uh, quite a few handfuls of folks. And it’s nice to see that, that, uh, uh, that these songs have. You know, really provided for for a lot of people and made a better life for a lot of people. So that’s really my favorite part.”

Question: How does it feel to have 3 CMA nominations? Especially Entertainer of the Year..
Morgan Wallen: “Yeah. I mean, any time you get recognized for for the hard work that you and your team put in, it’s a it’s a it’s a blessing. Um. I mean. You know, I think most of that entertainer of the year especially is just more of a nod to to my fans and how much they show up for me on the road than it is for me. I mean, they know that I go out there and and really do try my best every single time. I always try to bring as much energy as I have. And, um, it’s just nice to see that, you know, that they, they, they give me that same energy back. And I think any time that that an entertainer of the year nomination or or award is is on the table, it’s more of a nod to them than it is to me.”
