Question: What does the rest of the year look like for you?
Lauren Alaina: “So we’re kind of easing ourselves back into it and getting our plan together for next year, getting back out on the road with a baby on board.”

Question: How is wedding planning going?
Lauren Alaina: “Wedding planning is really fun. I’ve been spending so much time with my mom and my heart may actually burst. It has opened up…it is unlocked. But it’s a part of my heart that I didn’t even know existed. I really am so excited. I’ve always dreamed of getting dressed up to be on stage. And now I’m dreaming of being dressed up in a white dress saying I do. So it’s so really new. It’s all new feelings for me. And there. They’re really cool and really special.”

Question: What are some things you like on the road?
Lauren Alaina: “When I’m on the road, I like to take things from home that make me feel like I’m still there. So a must have is my pillow.. That sucker goes everywhere with me when I leave the house. The pillow is under my armpit. It’s going with me. I love my pillow. I always have to have a book I love to read. So I try to always have a book on me. Lots of snacks, beef jerky which is my favorite snack. So anywhere I go, I’ll always have a little bit of beef jerky with me or jerky jerky and my phone like the rest of us.”

Question: Where do you get your fashion inspo?
Lauren Alaina: “Fashion inspo…So my fashion has actually changed a little bit in the last couple of years because I spent a lot of time at home and I really feel like I reconnected with my Southern roots.. not that I’ve ever gotten very far from home, which we can all agree on, but I’ve been bringing back the boots. My mom I think there’s something about me being home and seeing pictures of me when I was younger, I was always in boots. So I’ve brought the boots back out and my feet are thanking me for it. Much easier than stilettos. No, I’ve been trying to, like, mix, you know, fashion forward things with a little bit of Western water, so I actually really love fashion. I like I don’t I don’t know very much about it, but I do love to look cute.”

Question: How is engaged life?
Lauren Alaina: “My engaged life is literally my best life. I am the happiest I’ve ever been. Cameron is the best. He’s so fun and funny and planning the wedding and all the time I’m spending with my mom and picking out all the things I just. I really am so excited and genuinely the happiest I’ve ever been. I can’t wait to be his wife.”
