Question: When did you hear “Wranglers”
Miranda Lambert: “Audra mays, one of my favorite writers and favorite people. We were writing for at a little retreat for something else and just work girl talk. And, you know, we were telling some truths and talking about our past. And, there were a lot of things in that room, and there was a lot of tequila. And a month later she texted me Wranglers. And I was like, that’s pretty epic. It reminds me of, you know, the woman scorned thing kind of worked for me in my career. So going away from that too long, feels like something’s missing in my records and missing in my set and missing in myself. And so when I heard Wranglers, I was like, oh, there it is. She’s back.”
