Question: Are you an over packer or not?
Ashley Cooke: “Yeah, I would say pretty moderate. I feel like I typically would lean on over packing more so than I do light packing I just you never know, you know, there’s there’s been times where you’ve been on the road and You know, we get stuck in a snowstorm or stuck in something our flight gets canceled And we have like two extra days somewhere and I’m like, oh glad I packed an extra sweatsuit.”

Question: What are some red & green flags?
Ashley Cooke: Ooh, that’s a great question. Red flags, I would say when they’re inconsistent, I think if somebody is interested in you and in a healthy way, they will be consistent with how they show up for you, show up, you know, for your time, they’ll pursue consistently, all of that. So I think red flags, that a red flag is inconsistency. I think using like Snapchat is a red flags. I really do, I think when guys are like, what’s your snap? And not like, what’s you number, it just gives me the ick. And then I think being rude to anybody. If they talk about other girls negatively to you, they’re probably talking about you negatively too. So, no, get away from me. Green flag, I would say if they’re close to their family, I’d say if they’re kind to you even when they don’t need to be. Like if they’re patient and kind to you in situations when maybe it doesn’t benefit them. I think that’s a really big green flag.

Question: Do you sleep with the TV on?
Ashley Cooke: “Oh, I need every noise ever. I’m not, I cannot sleep in silence. It drives me crazy. I think I have tinnitus. You know what that, it’s like your ears ring. I mean, music industry, I think, I just play a lot of live shows so my ears ring, I have a noise machine. I have timer on my TV and I have my dog in my bed with me. So it’s just a lot noise going on.”

Question: What is your favorite lyric in “The Hell You Are”
Ashley Cooke: “Oh man, I mean, okay, as a lyricist, like as somebody who just loves lyrics, my favorite line is, love like a mirage disappears closer, I get. Cause it’s just so accurate to how I feel about people that are like the people that I wrote the hell you are about. And yeah, just to me that, that lyric is just so special. But to me, when the song, when the chorus kicks off and it’s, say you’re coming over and you swear, that’s the one that really is like the hell, you are. So I would say that line of the verse and then the chorus.”

Ashley Cooke: “Oh my gosh, no, I don’t like Peeps, but I love the Reese’s eggs, like the Reese shaped eggs. It’s just a Reese’s, but they taste different. They do taste different, like normal Reese’s are like harder and the eggs are just like soft perfectness”
