Hailey Whitters:”This has been an incredible journey because, you know, I remember first starting to play this song out and nobody really knew what it was yet, you know, five, ten people, whatever, singing along. And then now we’re playing in front of like thousands and thousands of people. And we played last weekend in the Midwest. And I am not kidding. It was the loudest I’ve ever heard any crowd sing the song. And it just like makes me so emotional every time because that’s the thing you dreamt about, right? Hailey Whitters: “I’m a woooo girl apparently, like any time I hear just, you know, the first few notes, it’s like I hear that come on the radio, and I just am like, Whew! And I blast it. You know, whoever’s riding shoddy with me is usually forced into dancing and singing along. But yeah, I’m a woo girl when I hear my song on the radio. Have there been, like, a really.”

Question: Any cool crowd moments with “Everything She Ain’t”?

Question: How’s road life?
Hailey Whitters: “Traveling on the road. Road? Life is good. You know, we’re in a routine right now. We are out so much. We’re out all the time. And, you know, it’s like an adjustment. I don’t have much spare time these days, but it’s all really good because we’re getting to do a lot of really cool shows. We were out with Shania, Dirks, Bentley, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, just getting to perform with so many people that have inspired me. And it’s been a really good year on the road.”

Question: Tell me about your song 10 year town and how you feel now..
Hailey Whitters: “Man. It’s kind of crazy because I remember, like, when we wrote that song, I was only ten years in a ten year town, and we were thinking, maybe we should change the lyric. And I thought, you know, No, we wrote it 12. I don’t know, it means something. So I kept it. And year 12 was when that song kind of resonated. And then now it’s been two years since it came out. So now I’m 14 years in a ten year town and I don’t know, it’s been just kind of a rollercoaster and a journey, and I think everything works out the way it’s supposed to, and everything is kind of has its own sense of timing, but it’s cool to have all of these things happening now, you know, and it’s very bittersweet to be able to look back and see how far I’ve come.”
